Students Exhibit Artwork at All-County Exhibit
The Wantagh School District’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts is pleased to announce that 24 students represented the district in the annual Art Supervisors Association All-County Art Exhibit from their respective schools. Additionally, Wantagh High School senior Francis Peretti was selected as one of 42 ASA All-County Senior Scholarship winners.
The ASA is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the quality of art instruction at all educational levels and to providing an art forum. Each year, the organization hosts the All-County art exhibit, which showcases more than 1,200 pieces of artwork produced by K-12 students from Nassau County School Districts. The coronavirus pandemic led to a virtual format of this year’s exhibition, and the selected works can be viewed at: https://artspaces.kunstmatrix.com/en/exhibition/5371516/wantagh-all-county-art-exhibit
