Wantagh El Music Department Ends the Year on a High Note

The band, orchestra, and chorus at Forest Lake, Mandalay, and Wantagh Elementary schools have been busy with various musical events ending the school year on a high note. From performances at The Long Island Ducks baseball game, Flag Day, Long Island Music Festival, daytime school performances, and of course evening concerts for friends and family, it has been a full spring season.

The beginner band and orchestra made their debut this month as well, showing off the newly learned musical skills they learned this past school year. Oh, and we can’t forget the Recorder concert!

Kudos goes to the music teachers who have spent countless hours preparing all the students for their musical debut whether it’s their first or final performance at their elementary school.
